Wind weather has many purposes for helping tell people what the weather is like or going to be like in just a few hours down the road. Wind determines lots of things when it comes to weather and things we can and can not do. For example knowing how fast wind is traveling gives you the temperature it will feel like while the wind is blowing, it will also tell you if it is strong enough to take a roof off or if there is a need to stay indoors from the chilly air.

We have many devices that help us know wind weather and temperatures to name a few are thermometers, barometers, rain gauges, and weather stations that weather forecasters use to tell everyone what weather is going to be like for a few days at a time. Wind chill factors, the actual temperature and then calculating in for the wind to know just how much colder the wind will make it feel if going out in it.

Knowing the wind weather can help airports know how to land a plane as well as to cancel take offs due to too high of winds for a smooth take off. Winds can cause planes and cars to crash if high enough. Hang gliding, Parachuting, skydiving and such all need to know the wind weather to make adjustments in there sport for they could get blown off course or be taken into trees, rocks or totally out of the area they are trying to be in. This then could result in a massive search for the person and could even end in tragic things happening. Knowing the wind weather can be life and death in some instants such as flying, walking in bad weather, etc..

Wind weather is cause by air flowing from high and low pressures and the Earth rotation. The closer the high and low pressures are the worse the wind can and will become. Winds can do heavy damage to everything that gets in its path. Hurricanes have winds can cause very damaging conditions such as cars being picked up and tossed about like they were just bits of paper. Winds also can help some with things as lift if they are hang gliding or flying a kite.

Humidity is a degree of dampness in the atmosphere. It is about water vapor, in other words. It means that as humidity increases, there would be more tendency to rain. The air that would contain large water vapors comes from the wind that is coming from the ocean. On the other hand, the wind that comes from the land would have less water vapor and thus, is less humid. Nevertheless, the tendency to have rain showers would influence the activities of many people especially those that live in the area with risks of flood and landslides. Now, how one could know humidity if she was not able to watch television? Well. People say that it feels sticky and “close.”

The sweat is not evaporating in the air. It is a kind of defense mechanism of our body to keep it cool. It will not make us feel cool if it is not absorbed by the air. Thus, a 100% humidity  is really very warm. People wear sleeveless shirts and shorts. People fan themselves a lot. Some people suffer from heat stroke so, it would be better to have water on their sides. We are commonly comfortable if the humidity is 45 %. Thus, humidity weather reports are important. If the humidity is high, it is time to bring the umbrella. It also mean that the park is a good place to stay for a day. It should not also be a good time to go to the beach. It is not a good time to stay outdoors and play basketball or volleyball. The news programs and dailies usually have weather information. It is because the weather is  very vital to our lives. Schedules would depend on the weather. Our type of activities would depend on the weather. Actually, there are parts of the world where they depend their livelihood moves on the kind weather. If it would be rainy, the men  goes to the farm to plow and to plant crops. If the weather report says that the following day will be sunny, they would be going out to the sea to fish because lands will be too hard to till.

The physical education workshop of the children would also be affected by the weather report. If the report would say that it would be warm today and the sun would be up in the sky, the swimmers would be practicing their laps. Volleyball teams would be up against each other in the court outside the classrooms. The groups would not be able to have barbecue outside if there would be rain.

The weather information is an integral part of any one who goes sailing, may he be a sailor, a passenger or just a dispatcher at the sea port. The ships departure would somehow depend on the kind of weather there would be. The strength of the waves would depend on the strength of the wind that blows on the water. The low lands also needed the vegetables and the  hard furniture from the high lands.

Of course, the most important reason why we need to monitor our weather is to prepare for the possible catastrophes that may come. The people have to strengthen their homes. Some need to go to evacuation centers. People has to store food because there would be nothing to eat during flood and brownouts. It happened lots of times so, people already learned the lesson.
